Bad Bunny is making his mark in animation with a voice role in Toy Story 5, the upcoming installment of Pixar’s iconic franchise. He plays Pizza With Sunglasses, a laid-back and mysterious character who belongs to a group of forgotten toys living in an abandoned backyard shed. The role adds to the Puerto Rican superstar’s expanding filmography, which includes appearances in Bullet Train, Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore sequel, and the crime thriller Caught Stealing.

He joins Scottish actor Alan Cumming, who voices an evil version of Bullseye, Woody’s loyal horse. The returning core cast—Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, and Joan Cusack as Jessie—also reprises their roles. The film centers on the toys’ mission to protect their owner, Bonnie, from a modern threat: her smart tablet Lilypad, voiced by Greta Lee.

Toy Story 5 is set for release on June 19, following the release of its final trailer earlier in the week. This marks another milestone in Bad Bunny’s transition from global music sensation to established screen presence. Later this year, he will take on his first lead acting role in the film Porto Rico, opposite Javier Bardem and Edward Norton, a project inspired by Puerto Rican revolutionary José Maldonado Román.
