EDITORIAL CANTO

Editorial Policy

Canto exists to make news easier to enter, not easier to distort. Our editorial standard is that every explainer should add context, preserve the core factual sequence, and avoid copying article expression.

Selection

  • We choose stories that can be explained visually without losing the main factual sequence.
  • We avoid thin promotional posts, rumor-driven pieces, graphic harm, hate, and content whose main purpose is election campaigning or voter persuasion.
  • For sensitive topics such as finance, health, law, conflict, or civic life, we keep wording cautious and fact-bound.

Facts and rewriting

  • Each explainer should preserve the main story flow and relevant context when possible.
  • Canto does not copy full articles. It summarizes, explains, and rewrites the factual flow in its own visual format.
  • Internal production records may keep working notes for review and correction work.

Byline and accountability

Canto uses the byline June for the published explainer. AI tools may assist production, but AI is not treated as the author.
